Removing Sticky Fabric Protector Residue from a Couch in Seattle

The problem

The owners had sprayed a fabric protector (Scotchgard) on their sectional themselves. After that the fabric felt unpleasant to the touch: your hands felt sticky after touching the couch.

What we did

The result

The sticky feeling was gone and the fabric felt soft again. If you've used a fabric protector and your couch now feels tacky or stiff, it can often be fixed with the right rinse.
